Boogso is not a medical provider and does not give medical advice. It connects you with hospitals, clinics, doctors, laboratories and ambulance services, and stores records they create. Clinical decisions are made by the professional treating you. If you have a medical emergency, seek help through every channel available to you — do not rely on the app alone.
1. Agreeing to these terms
By creating a Boogso account or using the app or website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. If you're using Boogso on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for it.
2. Who can use Boogso
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You may manage care for a child or a dependent adult through your own account, and you're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter on their behalf and for having the authority to do so.
3. Your account
- Your account is tied to your phone number and verified by a code sent by SMS. Keep access to that number secure.
- Give accurate information. Health records built on a wrong date of birth or a wrong name are worse than no records.
- One account per person. Don't share your account, and don't create an account in someone else's name without their consent.
- Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to your account.
4. What Boogso does
Boogso provides a platform. Through it you can:
- find hospitals, clinics, doctors and laboratories, and see the information they publish;
- book appointments and diagnostic tests;
- request an ambulance from a partner service, with your location attached if you allow it;
- store and view medical records under your Health ID, and control which providers may see them;
- read health information and ask health questions.
5. What Boogso does not do
- We do not provide healthcare. Care is delivered by independent providers. Your relationship for treatment is with them, not with us.
- We do not give medical advice. Content in the health library is general information, not a diagnosis and not a substitute for consulting a professional.
- Kaaliye does not diagnose you. The in-app assistant is powered by an AI language model. It explains information and helps you reach the right care. It does not diagnose, does not prescribe, and must not be used to decide whether you need to see a clinician. Like any such system it can be wrong — do not act on it in place of a professional, and never delay seeking care because of something it said.
- We do not employ the providers listed. We verify registration and licensing where we can, but we do not supervise clinical practice and are not liable for it.
- We do not operate ambulances. Requests are routed to partner services. Availability and response time depend on them and on conditions on the ground.
- We do not guarantee availability. The service depends on mobile networks, power and third-party systems, none of which we control.
6. Emergencies
The ambulance feature is a way to reach a partner service faster, not a guarantee that one is available or that it will arrive within any particular time. It does not replace emergency numbers or going directly to a hospital. Do not delay other means of getting help while waiting for a response in the app.
7. Bookings, fees and payment
- Boogso is free to download and free to use for search, booking and record-keeping.
- Fees for consultations, tests and other care are set by the provider, not by us. Where a fee is shown in the app it's the figure the provider gave us; confirm it with them before treatment.
- Boogso never holds your money. Where you pay from the app, the mobile money provider splits the payment at the point it is made: the provider's share goes to them, and a commission goes to us for arranging the booking. The amount you pay is the fee shown before you book — our commission comes out of it, not on top of it.
- We cannot reverse a payment. Because we never hold the funds, refunds are issued by the provider. We will help you pursue one, and we will refund our commission where the care did not happen, but we cannot return the provider's share on their behalf.
- Cancellation and no-show rules are the provider's. Cancel as early as you can — the slot goes to someone else.
8. Your medical records
- Records created through Boogso are stored against your Health ID and belong to you.
- Providers see them only where you grant access or where they created the record. You can withdraw access at any time; a provider may retain its own copy of records it created, as health record-keeping law requires.
- Records held in Boogso may be incomplete — care delivered outside the platform won't appear. Do not treat the app as a complete clinical history.
- Keep your own copies of anything critical. Export is available at any time.
9. Acceptable use
Don't:
- impersonate anyone, or register using someone else's identity or number;
- submit false ambulance requests or false bookings;
- post reviews that are dishonest, defamatory, or written about a provider you never visited;
- attempt to access another user's records, probe our systems, or interfere with the service;
- scrape, copy or resell provider listings or any other content from the platform;
- use Boogso for anything unlawful.
False emergency requests take an ambulance away from someone who needs it. We suspend accounts for it without warning.
10. Content you submit
Reviews, questions and anything else you post stay yours. You give us permission to display and distribute them within the service so they're useful to other users. We may remove content that breaks these terms, and we may remove a review that appears fabricated. We don't edit reviews to favour a provider.
11. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces what you get, we'll give notice in the app. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to export your records first.
12. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Hubaal Technologies is not liable for the clinical acts or omissions of providers, for the availability or performance of ambulance services, for network or power failures, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
13. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we're required to. Where we do, we'll tell you why unless we're legally prevented, and you keep your right to export your records.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which Hubaal Technologies Ltd is incorporated, to be confirmed before launch, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction. This does not remove any protection you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
