Delete your account

You can delete your Boogso account yourself, from inside the app.

How to delete it

  1. Open the Boogso app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile and tap Delete my account.
  3. If you have an appointment, scan booking, remote consultation or ambulance request that is still open, or money left in your wallet, the app lists it. Finish or cancel those first, then come back.
  4. Enter your password. If we can text your phone, we also send you a code to enter.
  5. Confirm. You are signed out straight away.

What happens next

  • Straight away: you are signed out on every device, and clinics can no longer find you or open your Health ID.
  • For 30 days: nothing is erased. If you change your mind, sign in again and the deletion is cancelled.
  • After 30 days: your name, phone number, email, photo, date of birth, gender and city are permanently erased, along with your reviews, support messages and notifications. Your phone number can then be used to sign up again as a new account.

What we keep, and why

  • Medical records a clinic wrote about you stay with that clinic, which has its own duty to keep them. They no longer carry your name and you can no longer open them.
  • Payment and wallet records are kept as long as accounting and tax rules require, without your name.

If you cannot use the app

If you no longer have the app or your phone, email privacy@boogso.com from the address on your account, or tell us the phone number you registered with, and we will help you delete it.
